He also oversees all legal and risk compliance activities. His career spans more than 20 years, with varied experience in financial management, business leadership, corporate and start up strategy. As well as joining us at Hexa, Francis also serves as a consultant CFO being responsible for the provision of interim business and financial consultancy expertise, engaging with a series of clients during start-up and scaling-up phases, including working with notable start ups The Edit London, Planty, Select UK among others specialising in providing advice on venture capital and improving working capital in preparation for capital raising.

Previously CFO for Nexford Learning Solutions, a UK-based provider of tech-enabled academic products and services specifically specializing in providing universities with scalable, high-quality yet affordable technology products which enable them to operate efficiently online. Before that, from 2009 to 2018 he served as VP Finance of EMEA Finance for Monster Europe ( part of the Randstad Corporation, Online Recruitment Solutions). From 2007 to 2009, he served as Head of Corporate Finance for Monster Worldwide. Earlier in his career, Francis held management -level positions in investment banks including Standard Bank and Nomura International.

Francis is a Fellow of Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies and holds a degree in Economics and Political Science from the London School of Economics.
